Enhanced Services

Our unit is now also offering an enhanced service to those researchers who commit funds from their (proposed) grants for statistical consultation. Our assistance can contribute substantially to the quality of the research, in addition to increasing the chances of getting funding in these difficult times.

For such researchers, we offer the following assistance during the grant writing stage:

  • help in designing the study, including efficient and reliable data gathering techniques and sample size evaluation
  • help in writing the section in the grant that outlines the proposed statistical procedures to be used
  • help in estimating the funds needed for statistical consultation.

We also offer the following assistance after the grant has been obtained:

  • continued statistical guidance as the study is being carried out
  • help in arranging data checking and entry
  • assistance as you analyze your data or explanations of how we analyzed it for you
  • help in writing the statistical conclusions of the study
